Hell Fire Pass

At the start of the new Hellfire Pass board walk with builder and good friend Paul Finnegan. Paul had just laid the last step edges in the morning so we were the first tourist group to walk down the path. It wasn't officially opened so we were very privileged to have this experience. Paul's two sons Mathew and Andrew, and Andrew's girlfriend were also with us but are not in this photo. Andrew has also been working on the path with Paul since the beginning. The walk way itself is really incredible, Paul and Andrew have done an incredible job (working with local teams)

Post From Bangkok

Well we made it to bangkok in one piece. For a while there it looked like we weren't going to make it. Some heavy cold and flu medicines for both and Nat and Lil were just the ticket to get us going.

We are staying with my brother Shane, his wife Mel, their daughter Sophie and Grandma Irene in there apartment in the heart of Bangkok. We have been totally spoiled by them , there two maids, M and Mi Mi and their driver Tawhat. All in all it is a little community and Liliana is having a great time with a playmate and so much attention from all quarters.

Shane's business is doing great guns which is the result of 11 years hard work with Melissa here in Asia.

Sophie is a real little cutie and together with Liliana they are like a "United Colors of Benetton" advert (as Shane noted).

Any way here are some pics

Outside the foyer of the Orient hotel where we just had a really nice lunch, looking over the river.

Liliana's first birthday present

For Liliana's first birthday I bought her 1 share in the Walt Disney company. I ordered the share through oneshare.com. I had it framed and also had some wording printed on the matte "my first stock", I had it framed for her bedroom. At first She thought it was a ball and then realized that the wrapping paper was reflective and then she went and played with a stick. I knew that what ever I was going to get would have a shelf life of about 8 minutes so I bought her something that she can grow into.
